For reference, this is the Japanese keyboard on the Panasonic Let's note model CF-NX2:
This is a fairly standard layout for Japanese keyboards since sometime around the early 1990s.
Note that the ¥ (yen) key is by default mapped by Ubuntu 18 to the \ (backslash) character for most applications, unless you are using a Japanese input method and have Japanese input selected.
